Description

Lights! Camera! Action!

This event is a celebration of our success and a tribute to our partners. More importantly though, it is an opportunity to increase awareness and raise funds to support Capitol Hill Village, the nation’s leading Village that provides an array of services and activities dedicated to support seniors aging in the community.

The Gala serves as the major annual fundraiser to support the Village’s expanding programs, new service initiatives, and ongoing awareness-raising about longevity and living on Capitol Hill. Reservations cost $150 with a range of donor and sponsors levels from $3,000-$10,000

A new opportunity this year is that auction items will be offered online so bidders anyone whether you are going to the gala or not—can bid on a broad selection of events, vacation homes, restaurants and more. This will expand the bidder pool and make items available to those who are not able to attend the Gala

The online auction site is expected to be available about 2ndFebruary and active until just before the March 4 Gala. The items sold in the online auction will not be sold at the gala. The gala is featuring only live auction sales (super spectacular ones at that) and Salon Dinners.

Organized by

Capitol Hill Village (CHV) supports aging on Capitol Hill to keep older adults socially engaged, continually learning, safe and connected. We involve families with aging members through education, resources and referrals. This is achieved through the work of a few staff and hundreds of volunteers who design and implement activities, and volunteer to serve members through activities like driving, friendly visits and household tasks.
